Big News For Me! (Well us!)
I found out last week that...

my wife is pregnant! (a.k.a. Ati)

Only a little over a month along, but in May of next year I'll be a dad!


Now I just need a better job.

haha... yes actually. Medicaid won't pay for a direct entry midwife (homebirth), but it WILL pay for a certified nurse midwife. My first appointment is October 26th. I have to drive an hour for every appointment AND for the delivery, but at least this hospital won't get to touch my baby. Holy crap are they terrible. They killed a baby boy two years ago. He was born breach and inhaled amniotic fluid. The stupid pediatritian forgot to suction his lungs and he drowned. Pretty messed up, huh?

So who wants to draw lots on if it's a boy or a girl?

Also, I told Max to post, like, the day after we found out, and he didn't. *shakes fist* I told you so, jerkhole!

Just an update... this kid is SOOOOO GROUNDED! We've been having some problems... low hormone levels, low fetal heart rate, bleeding... but our last ultrasound showed a healthy baby with a low, but normal heart rate. So if this baby decides to stick around, it's grounded for the first three years of it's life.
