Life Forum Feed

Ever wanted to be able to actively watch as new posts are made on the forums? Well, now you can. At the top of any page, you can click "Live Feed" and see posts as they happen.

Replace the new posts option with that...or create a more accessible link to it

...I think the only person who stares at the screen waiting for threads to update is me :|

I don't want to ditch the "New Posts" link, but would you like to see the live feed next to the "new posts" link as opposed to in quicklinks? I can certainly do that...

Are you limited to the number of things you can put on the top bar? I for one never click User CP

UserCP is staying because it's the easiest way to edit your profile and options, but I've removed the live feed link from quicklinks and it now has a place in the top navbar next to the new posts link.

I've known about this add-on for like 4 months, I'm really not sure why I didn't install it sooner.

Interesting feature. Definately don't touch the New Posts button since that is the first button I hit when I get here!

Yeah, it wasn't working right and seemed to slow down the server a bit when people were using it, so I ditched it.
