I do agree on the Firefighters comment that in some circumstances, a woman simply cannot perform at a level that is required (but this could be true even if a man cannot compete at the same level of another man) like with firefighters. They have grueling tasks they have to accomplish that require lifting "X" amount of pounds, for example. Whether they are a man or a woman, if they simply cannot compete with the requirements, the rules should not be bent to accomodate them. Especially with a life-saving job. |
